It’s been a slow couple of weeks while my flash is in for repair. Note to self…if the problem doesn’t get fixed when you first send it in under warranty don’t wait till warranty is over to send it back. So we had some fun with daddys Florida Gators hat. Keeping a wide aperture to get enough light without my flash to bounce.
So I tried to keep the focus on her gorgeous baby blues and the rest of her face is softer.
Then my fave grocery basket. Big enough to fit a couple of days of groceries and evidently Ella and her rainbow doggy.
Robin and Todd are expecting twins, Robin is due about a month after me. We had a blast and had lots to talk about comparing notes on our pregnancy experiences. They were really easy to shoot with because they’re gorgeous and very natural in front of the camera. However they’re both tall and so I did a lot of climbing onto chairs and such to get high enough. I’m due with my first baby girl on Valentines Day so this will be my last shoot for a while since I’m not exactly agile anymore. Here is just a sampling of the shoot.
The answer…if you have family to visit then Los Angeles is a great getaway.
I’ve worked with Keri before on a newborn shoot when they had their adorable baby Cameron. This time around Keri’s family was visiting from Hawaii. The day of the shoot was one of the few cold days we’ve had this winter, although most people in the world would still consider it a lovely day, Keri’s family were all freezing. Clearly not used to the cooler weather.
I’m around 8 months months pregnant at this stage and as is common with pregnancy I’ve been consistently hot throughout. Even I was a bit chilly so it must have been very cold for them. We all had fun regardless. They are clearly a close family which is always lovely to be around. Baby Cameron of course was the center of attention. I mean seriously look at that face, how could you not want to look at it all the time. Cameron on the other hand was very interested in his aunties knee.
